American country pop singer-songwriter, musician and actress Taylor Alison Swift was born on December 13, 1989 in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. Her parents, Andrea Gardner, and Scott Kingsley Swift, raised her. She has a younger brother named Austin.

Swift won a national poetry contest when she was in fourth grade. At the age of ten, she learned how to play the guitar and wrote her first song, “Lucky You”. Swift was a victim of bullying and writing songs and novels are her perfect way to relieve her emotions. She also performed in different local karaoke contests, festival and fairs.

Her family relocated to Nashville when she was fourteen and worked with local songwriters there. Her first major show was on Bloomsburg fair. She attended the Hendersonville High School when she was on Tennessee; however, she was homeschooled when she was on her junior and senior years.
